JAMUGURIHAT, Sept 24 � Noted theatre personality and a doyen of the Assamese drama movement Bhola Kataki has been admitted to the Guwahati Neurological Research Centre following a massive stroke.
The 76-year old artiste, currently at the ICU of the GNRC, is stated to be stable but not out of danger.
An exponent of stage acting including mobile theatre and bhaona, Kataki acted in several films as well. Some of his films are Sandhyarag, Anirban and Jalanjali. His role in the Nataraj Mobile Theatre in 1960s is still remembered by the people.
