Bhattadev University urged to continue 10+2 system

PATACHARKUCHI, June 22 - Following upgrading of Bajali College of Pathsala to Bhattadev University, a citizens� meet held recently urged the authority concerned to continue with the 10+2 system in the new university.

The meeting, held in the digital hall of the college on Saturday, discussed various issues relating to imparting of education in the university. The meeting thanked the government for appointing a new Vice Chancellor for Bhattadev University.

The meeting demanded early redressal of various grievances in regard to internal administration and also to improve the scholastic environment of the college.

Further, the meeting urged the Education Minister and Vice Chancellor to take adequate measures so as to maintain its name and fame.

The meeting decided to submit a memorandum to Chancellor Prof Jagadish Mukhi , besides the Education Minister, and to request them to allow continuation of the 10+2 system in the university.

In this regard, a committee was formed to prepare a memorandum with various prominent persons from diverse fields of activity.
