JORHAT, Oct 12 Prabhat Bora Burhabhakat and Janardan Bhuyan Borbayan of Natun Kamalabari Satra today in a press release stated that Narayan Chandra Dev Goswami, Satradhikar, Natun Kamalabari Satra has been trying to divert the attention of the public from the corruption done under his patronage by putting blame upon them. They further stated that the use of ULFA by them to kill the Satradhikar in 1997 is a false and imaginary charge against them.

In the press release, they also questioned why the Satradhikar did not inform the matter to the administration at that time though he knew that the ULFA cadre was there.

They also alleged that the Satradhikar did not inform the Vaisnabs about the utilization of funds coming from the government coffers. When the Bhakats received some information through RTI, the anomalies of fund came to light.

They further said that the Natun Kamalabari Satra is conducted by the Bhakats and Vaisnabs. So, the Satradhikar did not have the right to expel them. They are still performing the day to day activities in the Satra.

There should be a Managing Committee in the Satras as per the instruction of the Revenue department of the government. But in the Natun Kamalabari Satra, the Satradhikar hindered the process to form the committee, they alleged.

The two bhakats in the press release further stated that they had the documents to prove of anomalies of funds in the Satra which were received through RTI. They also said that the Satradhikar should answer the charges brought against him through the legal process instead of using sensational allegations against the bhakats.
