DULIAJAN, July 16 � In recognition of its overall performance and contribution to the State�s industrial and economic growth, the Government of Assam conferred the Best Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) Award to the Assam Gas Company Limited (AGCL), Duliajan on July 11 at an award presentation ceremony held at NEDFI House, Dispur.
The AGCL was also conferred with the award of Highest Dividend Paying Company among the state PSUs of Assam. Moreover, Bhupen Borpatragohain, Managing Director of AGCL was awarded with the Best Managing Director, stated an AGCL press comminique.
The awards were presented by Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi in presence of the Minister for Power & Industries Pradyut Bordoloi and Additional Chief Secretary to the Govt of Assam, Emily Choudhury. The award ceremony was attended by many high-level officials of State PSUs and Govt of Assam.
