DHEMAJI, June 16 - Lakhinarayan Goswami, principal, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV), Dhemaji, which is situated at Hatigarh here has been selected for the �The Best District Principal Award� for the year 2017-18 by the Academic Council of Science Olympiad Foundation in recognition of his leadership qualities and his path-breaking initiatives for the cause of education.
It is worth mentioning here that under the visionary leadership and famed initiatives of Lakhinarayan Goswami, the students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Dhemaji, collectively performed very well in the SOF Olympiad exams conducted during the academic year 2017. The award and the performance of his school is all the more noteworthy, since during academic year, more than 45000 schools from over 1400 cities spread across 30 countries registered for the six Olympiad and millions of students appeared in the world�s biggest Olympiad exam conducted by SOF.
The award will be presented to Lakhinarayan Goswami in the annual conference of Science Olympiad Foundation to be held in July.
