GUWAHATI, April 5 - Bengaluru FC outclassed host Aizawl FC 3-1 in the AFC Cup Group E fixture at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium here today.

Using the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium as their home ground, Aizawl FC made an electrifying start taking 1-0 lead in the very fifth minute. L Dozoz fired the first salvo with a right footer from top of the box for the Mizoram team and it looked the home team will continue their domination.

But in the extended time of the first session, Daniel Segovia restored parity converting a spot kick. In the second session, the boots were on the other foot as the visiting team got their act together and forced the opponents to fall back. Rahul Bheke made it 2-1 for Bengaluru in the 63rd minute with a sharp header from a close range off a floater sent by Alwyn George following a corner.

Daniel Lalhlimpuia completed the tally in the 77th minute with a sharp right-footer from the centre of the box getting assistance from Subhashish Bose.
