GUWAHATI, Oct 1 � Annyodesh, a Bengali magazine and a poetry recitation album of Shibsankar Das were released by the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Tezpur University, Dr Amarjyoti Chowdhury, and Kamalkiran Bhuyan in a function at the Guwahati Press Club on September 28 in the presence of Anjali Sengupta, editor, Annyodesh and Abhijit Mazumder, social worker and the editor, North East Power News.
Prof Sitanath Lahkar, former Principal of Cotton College, in his speech emphasized the influence of rich literature and poetry in forming a strong and vibrant society. Dr Nandita Goswami offered the vote of thanks, stated a press release.
