GUWAHATI, Nov 24 - AG West Bengal (B) won the men�s team title defeating their A team 3-1 in the final of the IA and AD East zone Table Tennis Tournament at the ABITA Indoor Stadium here today.
In the women�s event, Sayantika Kundu of ag West Bengal (A) won the singles title with a 4-1 victory against Nabanthika Bose of ag West Bengal (B).
In the veterans� above 40 final Santanu Banerjee of ag west Bengal (B) defeated kvp rama Rao of ag Odisha 3-0. In the above 50 years group final, Sibaji Lahari of Principal Director Audit Eastern Railway, Kolkata defeated vp pandey of ag Bihar 3-2.
The men�s singls title went to Jaideep Das of ag West Bengal (B) who defeated Abhishek Mukherjee of ag West Bengal (A) 4-1.
In the closing ceremony, Deepak Narain, Accountant General (Audit), Assam was present as the chief guest while Abdul Rouf, Accountant General (a&e), Assam was present as guest of honour and gave away the prizes to the winners, stated a release.
