GUWAHATI, Sept 23 - Assam�s first ever professional Basketball competition � Basketball Challengers League (BCL) got underway today with six professional basketball teams participating in the meet. The league organised by Sportscraft Management in association with Basketball Association of Assam (BAA) was inaugurated by BAA president Mukut Medhi at the basketball court in the RG Baruah Sports Complex here. The top two teams of the league will take on each other in the final. The winners will get a cash award of Rs 1 lakh.
