GUWAHATI, Sept 24 - NF Railway (B) got the better of Pirates 96-40 in their match of the Basketball Challengers League (BCL) at the basketball court in RG Baruah Sports complex here today. Rohit Basfor was adjudged the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match.
Earlier, NF Railway (A) team defeated IIT Guwahati yesterday evening. The championship is being organised by Sportscraft Management in association with Basketball Association of Assam with six professional teams battling it out for maximum points. The scoreline of the opening match was 103-69 and Nilam Kakoty of Railways emerged as the most valuable player of the match. In the other two matches, Assam Rhinos defeated Pirates 74-28 and NF Railways (B) got the better of Assam 16 58-24.
