GUWAHATI, June 23 - In the quarterfinal round of the Senior Inter District Cricket Tournament for the Nuruddin Ahmed Trophy, Barpeta defeated Bongaigaon by 28 runs while Guwahati took first innings lead against Golaghat, Nagaon beat Sivasagar by 19 runs and Biswanath Chariali got the better of Dibrugarh by 10 runs.
Altogether four matches were completed today in different places organised under the patronage of the Assam Cricket Association. The group toppers will qualify for the last-four stage.
