BISWANATH CHARIALI, Jan 29 - The third Barnam National Drama Festival concluded successfully at Binapani Natya Mandir here on January 28. The festival was inaugurated on January 26 by well-known playwright Tarun Saikia, while the earthen lamp was lit by Dilip Borkataki, President of the organizing committee. The festival formally began with the presentation of a play by Barnam, �Ambika Gantha� followed by �Makarajal� by Nibedan from Nagaon. The second day�s programmes included �Shesh Shiksha� presented by Mridangam from West Bengle and �Angik� by Assam Mime and Script Creation, Guwahati. Two other plays were presented on the last day namely �Kino Koun� by Dapon-The Mirror of Tangla and �Barsingaifu� by Katha Prasanga of West Bengle. Eminent drama personality Anup Hazarika was present as the Chief Guest during the festival.
