SILCHAR, Feb 4 � The third edition of the Suparna Hore Memorial Media Cricket Fest- III, organised by the Barak Upatyaka Krira Sangbadik Sanstha (BUKSS) began at the SM Dev Stadium here yesterday.
On the opening day, defending champions Dainik Jogasankha defeated Samayik Prasanga by six wickets while Barak Valley E-Media Association downed Dainik Prantajyoti by 43 runs.
The championship was formally inaugurated by SP Diganta Bora. Silchar DSA president Badal Dey and secretary Babul Hore were also present on the occasion.
