Dr Saumen Bharatiya and Pintu Gupta, on behalf of the organisers said, For the last five years Byatikram awards are being given on the anniversary of Vicky Publishers. These awards are only for achievers from the North-east. We also invite internationally acclaimed artistes to perform in the event. Local artistes also perform along with them on the same stage. Thus a bond is created between the North-east and the world culture along with the spread of our own culture, traditions and heritage to the outside world.
