BADARPUR, July 28 - The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has assured the people that it will help out all those people who may find their names excluded from the final draft NRC list to be published on July 30. This was stated by Biswaroop Bhattacharya (State BJP vice-president) and AIDC Chairman as well as former BJP MLA Mission Ranjan Das, at a press conference at Karimganj, on Thursday.

The meeting was attended and addressed by all senior district BJP leaders.
Meanwhile, to avoid any sort of untoward incident or violence, after the publication of the NRC list on July 30, the Karimganj district police administration beefed up security arrangements in the entire district. Sensitive places of Badarpur, Bhanga, Nilambazar, Patharkandi, Karimganj and the rest of the district have been brought under tight security.
