GUWAHATI, Aug 12 � It is good news for the State�s people. The Bangla and Hindi versions of the Gunamala, one of the immortal works of Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardeva, are now available.
According to Dr Sanjib Kumar Borkakoti, who has been working on the Vaishnavite literature of the State for the past two decades Ananda Ram Gogoi of Guwahati has published the Bangla and Hindi versions of this valuable work of the great Vaishnavite saint.
Borkakoti has also posted the photographs of the covers of the two versions of this great work in the Facebook group � �Followers of Srimanta Sankaradeva.� Gunamala is known as one of the shortest versions of the holy Bhagavata.
The texts of both the versions of this great work would soon be uploaded to the website of the Society for Srimanta Sankaradeva, said Borkakoti
Ananda Ram Gogoi is a resident of Jonak Nagar, Rodali Path, Kahilipara. His house number is 24, informed Borkakoti.
