Bangla hands over 22 ULFA cadres to India

GUWAHATI, Sept 24 � Atleast 22 hardcore Ulfa cadre were handed over to India today by Bangladesh.

Highly place official sources said that the cadres including Anu Buragohain, Bhaity Baruah and Biju Deka were handed over along the Indo-Bangla border in Meghalaya today and the Assam Police has taken the custody this evening.

Police sources said that the same methology used to bring top ULFA leaders including Arabinda Rajkhowa has been applied on this occasion also.

Meanwhile security sources said that that the ULFA leaders got in touch with security agencies and express their desire to come back from Bangladesh and the Government of India pulled diplomatic strings in the last few days to facilitated their return to the State.
