SENAPATI, June 16 - The United Naga Council (UNC) has called a 12-hour bandh along the national highways and district highways in the �Naga areas� of Manipur on June 18 in support of its demand for early settlement of the Naga political issue.
The UNC said the bandh would come into effect from 6 am on June 18. It said that the media, water supply, medical service and security forces would be exempted from the purview of the bandh.
