IMPHAL, March 3 - Indo-Myanmar border trade has been affected by the indefinite bandh on Imphal-Moreh section of National Highway 102 in Manipur on Thursday.

The bandh was imposed by Joint action committee against the murder of Thongkhogin Haokip, a teacher of Molnom high school in Chandel district, on the busy route since Wednesday midnight.

One Alto car was allegedly vandalised by bandh supporters near Tengnoupal village for defying the bandh.

Large numbers of bandh supporters including women blocked the Imphal-Moreh Road at different points by burning tyres and piling woods on the road.
