GUWAHATI, Nov 19 - Bamundi Football Club handed a 5-1 drubbing to Krishak United Club in the first semifinal of the ongoing 6th Topcem Challenge Football Tournament, organised by the Rudreswar Ajanta Club at the Mini Stadium, North Guwahati. The title sponsor of the meet is Topcem Cement.
The highlight of the one-sided match today was a hattrick by Rahul Boro of the winning team who scored three goals in the 17th, 36th and 80th minute respectively. The other two goals for the Bunda team were netted by Basanta Boro in the 62nd and 78th minute of the game.
Banajit Rabha of Krishak United Club reduced the margin in the 87th minute.
Later Rahul Boro was named player of the match.
