GUWAHATI, Feb 23 - Kolkata giant Mohun Bagan will lock horns with Maziya Sports and Recreation Club in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup championship at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Sarusajai here tomorrow. Mohun Bagan is the host of this match.

Both the teams had their workout session this evening at the match venue.

The chief coach of the Maldives team Ali Suzain in his pre match press meet today said, they have eight national players in the team along with a Bulgerian defender. He said that the team is well prepared to take on the Indian giant and hoped for a positive result. He was satisfied with the ground condition and opined that a well contested match is on the card tomorrow.

Their captain Asadulla Abdulla said that they are aware of the strength of the Mohun Bagan team but they are ready to counter any kind of challenge.

Representating Mohun Bagan, leading player Cornell Glen, who is a World Cupper of Trinidad and Tobago, said he has the experience of playing on this pitch with the Shillong Lajong in the I-League, so it is like a home ground for him. He hoped that, despite his dry spells in last five I-League matches, he will be able to deliver in tomorrows match.

Bagan chief coach Sanjay Sen, however, said he does not have any idea about the strength of the opponent team, but he believes that his team has a good opportunity to reach the next round of the championship.

All the player are fit and fine and are raring to go all out tomorrow, said Sen.

The kick off time is 7 pm.
