KOKRAJHRA, June 3 � Baarhoonkha Athletic Club edged past Global Football Club 2-1 in a Assam State Premier League match at the Kokrajhar DSA ground Kokrajhar today.
Micheal Karjee (67th minute) and Idoni Joseph (73rd minute) netted one goal each for the winning team while Solemon reduced the margin in the 74th minute converting a spot kick.
Our Sports Reporter adds: At Sivasagar, Karbi Anglong Morning Star trounced Moran Town Club 5-0. Orak Orak Essien netted three goals for the winning team. He scored in the 13th, 74th and 80th minutes while Lachit Bora (26th minute) and Barun Tokbi (78th minute) added one each.
At Tezpur, host Tezpur United prevailed over Udalguri Football Club 2-0. Onyeama Francis (14th minute) and Rahul Saikia (90+3 minute) were the goal-getters for the Tezpur team.
