AZARA, March 4 - The office of the newly-formed Azara Sub divisional Office (Civil) under Kamrup (M) district was formally inaugurated on March 2 by Hemanta Talukdar, local MLA and Parliamentary Secretary, Agriculture department, Government of Assam at a function held on the Azara revenue circle office premises.
In his inaugural speech, Talukdar said that the people of greater Azara revenue circle area would be benefited from all sides in respect of civil administration. The function was presided over by Pulak Patgiri, Circle Officer, Azara revenue circle.
The function was also attended by BDO Rani Development Block GM Muktatir and Rahul Amin, ACP (West) District, Guwahati city. Earlier, Prabin Medhi, Azara GP president explained the purpose of the meeting.
It may be noted here that Circle Officer Pulak Patgiri, will be the SDO (C) of Azara subdivision.
