BISWANATH CHARIALI, May 1 - A sub-team of 12th Battalion of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Itanagar conducted an awareness and sanitization programme at Nay Gogra Tea Estate, Gohpur to prevent widespread transmission of COVID-19 on April 30.
During this programme, the Battalion distributed food packets to needy and poor people.
They created awareness among public to use mask and sanitizer, to maintain social distancing, to stay home and to cooperate with government authorities to win the war against invisible enemy COVID-19.
According to Mahendra Singh, Assistant Commandant, Hollongi and Gohpur areas were decontaminated with sodium hypochlorite with high pressure pump sprayer and it will be continued.
