GUWAHATI, Jan 26 - To sensitize the consumers about the consumers� rights, the Grahak Suraksha Sanstha, Guwahati will organize an awareness camp on January 29, 30 and 31 at SK Hazarika College on RG Baruah Road, Guwahati.
The camp would be organized in association with the State Institute of Rural Development. On the first day of the camp, legal issues and matters related to mismanagement in LPG cylinder distribution would be addressed, whereas, on January 30, awareness would be created on the matters related to banking, electricity, and legal metrology. On January 31, the awareness camp would address the issue of contaminated food, matters related to supply department, health, consumers� protection, etc.
The camp to be continued from 10 am to 3 pm everyday is open to all as every individual is a consumer, said the organizers.
