DOOMDOOMA, Sept 30 - Maharaj Agrasen Seva Samity here organised an awareness meet for women on uterine and breast cancer at the Marwari Panchayati Bhawan here recently.
Dr Prerana Keshan, a gynaecologist from Tinsukia addressed the meet as resource person. The camp was organised on the occasion of the 5,140th birth anniversary of Maharaj Agrasen, the founder of Agrakul.
The Samity also organised a free health check-up camp at the same venue last week which was inaugurated by senior citizen Chiranjilal Goyal. A team of doctors led by Dr Rahul Bagaria examined over 100 patients in the camp.
