Awards for Indian Oil institutions

DIGBOI, Feb 24 � The Assam Oil School of Nursing � a quality institution of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Assam Oil Division) won a prestigious award for women empowerment at the World CSR Congress 2014 and Global CSR Excellence and Leadership Awards held at Mumbai recently. IndianOil won awards in total four categories which are Women Empowerment � awarded to Assam Oil School of Nursing, Concern for Health � awarded to Bongaigaon Refinery and Community Development and Improvement in Quality Education awarded to Guwahati Refinery.

The event was held in Mumbai with the attendance of delegates from nearly 89 countries. The awards were presented by Bhaskar Chatterjee, Director General & CEO of Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Yogesh Dhingra, MD & COO of Blue Dart Express Ltd and Kewal Handa, Managing Director of Conexus Social Responsibility Services Pvt Ltd. IndianOil was represented by Kishore Dutta, CM (CC&CSR) of AOD Digboi Refinery, Ms Anjana Barua Sharma of Guwahati Refinery, Naba Jyoti Das SM (Security & CSR) of Bongaigaon Refinery and Vineet Narain SM (A&W&CSR) of Panipat Refinery.

Established in 1986, Assam Oil School of Nursing has been gradually advancing in its objective of providing professional training to unemployed girls in the field of nursing. Till date, the school prides in having produced 334 successful nurses placed in reputed hospitals in India and abroad.
