GUWAHATI, April 1 - Ravishankar Ravi, Editor of Dainik Purvoday, a city-based newspaper, has been honoured with the Freedom Fighter Kedarnath Goswami Award by the Rajya Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti for his outstanding contribution in the fields of journalism and literature.
He was felicitated with a citation, sarai, japi, gamusa and Rs 11,000 in cash. Prof Avnish Kumar, Director, Central Hindi Directorate of the Government of India, presented the award to Ravi at a function held at Shilpgram, Panjabari today.
