GUWAHATI, Aug 2 - Dr Sikhamoni Konwar, Principal of Karmashree Hiteswar Saikia College here, has been awarded the Barak-Brahmaputra Samannai Bata-2019 by leading cultural organisation Kareng Ghar for her significant contribution in the field of education, according to a press release.
Dr Konwar has been continuously writing research papers for different national and international seminars and journals reflecting different historical and cultural aspects of Assam. She has also been successfully playing a key role in the development of her college from its nascent stage for over twenty-five years.
