DHEMAJI, Aug 13 - Dhemaji college student Archana Konwar, who won the IGNITE-10 Award for her innovation, has been selected again for the NCPEDP-Mphasis Universal Design Awards 2015 instituted by the National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People (NCPEDP).

She will be presented the award tomorrow in a ceremony to be held at the auditorium of the India International Centre (IIC) in New Delhi.

Archana got the IGNITE-10 Award in 2010 for developing a crutch with a spring shock absorber. Former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam handed over the award to her at an event in the IIM, Ahmedabad.

In 2011, she was invited to the Rashtrapati Bhavan to participate in an exhibition. She again got an award for innovation in 2013. President Pranab Mukherjee gave her the award at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
