GUWAHATI, Nov 26 - Borpatra Tea Garden Hosppital inside the Borpatra Tea Garden, located in Charaideo district and managed by the Goodricke Group of Companies has got the best tea garden hospital (Plantation Labour Act Compliant) award on the 3rd Shramik Kalyan Diwas organised by the Labour Welfare department through the Assam Labour Welfare Society, a press release issued here stated. Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal presented Mayuresh Baruah, the manager of the garden with the above award in a ceremony held at Kotalguri TE field in Jorhat district on November 23.
Borpatra Tea Garden maintains a well-equipped 22 bed hospital with a doctor and qualified paramedical staff, providing healthcare services to the people of the garden. The Garden has stood up well on its commitment for social well-being. It has remained in the forefront for implementing various welfare schemes of the Government.
