Avadh Assam Express to run up to New Tinsukia

GUWAHATI, June 7 � The Indian Railways has extended the service of the 15609-15610 Guwahati-Lalgarh Avadh Assam Express up to New Tinsukia station for convenience of passengers of upper Assam.

The first extended daily train from Lalgarh to New Tinsukia will start operating on June 18 and from New Tinsukia to Lalgarh on June 21, Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) PRO Nripen Bhattacharya said.

The train will depart from New Tinsukia daily at 10.40 am and from Lalgarh at 5.45 am.

It will have stoppages at Simaluguri, Mariani, Furkating, Dimapur, Diphu, Lumding, Hojai, Chaparmukh, Jagiroad, Guwahati, New Bongaigaon, New Jalpaiguri, Chhapra, Lucknow and Delhi.

The train will have two AC-2 tier coaches, two AC-3 tier, 11 sleeper coaches, four general second class coaches, a pantry car and two SLR/SLRD.
