TEZPUR, Feb 26 - An audio cassette, Dola, produced by Babita Hazarika Boro and with lyrics, tune and music arrangement by noted artist and cultural activist, son of cultural icon Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha, Hemraj Rabha was released recently at the office of the Sonitpur Journalists Union here by noted artist Pankaj Bordoloi.

It is pertinent to mention here that Hemraj Rabha has already produced a number of audio cassettes with his own lyrics and music reviving the Argo Audio Production, a recording studio set up at his residence, that was established by the Kalaguru. The cassette contains six songs sung by a little girl, Rithi Boro, a student of Kendriya Vidiyalaya, Tezpur University.

Releasing the audio cassette, Pankaj Bordoloi expressed dissatisfaction over the fact that Bishnu Sangeet and Jyoti Sangeet did not get priority in the recently-concluded South Asian Games (SAG) opening and closing functions. However, it is a positive thing that Dr Bhupen Hazarikas song was sung as the theme song of South Asias mega sporting event, he said.
