HAILAKANDI, Aug 30 - The Hailakandi Zilla Prathamik Sikshak Sanmilani yesterday strongly condemned the assault on a headmistress by miscreants during the Measles Rubella vaccination session at North Narayanpur Basic School on Tuesday last.
Syed Ahmed, the district secretary of the Sanmilani, urged the Deputy Commissioner of Hailakandi to take immediate steps to arrest the culprits involved in the incident.
Jaya Das, the headmistress of North Narayanpur Basic School, had to be hospitalised at the SK Roy Civil Hospital following the assault. The Algapur Primary Health Centre in-charge rushed to the hospital to enquire about her health condition.
