GUWAHATI, Sept 28 - An open selection trial will be held on September 30 at the SAI ground in Paltanbazar here to prepare the athletics State team for the 1st North East Olympic Games to be held at Manipur from October 24 to 28. The trial will be conducted by the Assam Athletic Association.
Events to be organised are � 100m, 400m ,1500m, 5000m, 10000m, long jump, high jump, shot put, 4x100, 4�400 relay and javelin (both men and women). All the affiliated district units have been asked to send athletes for the trial. Athletes have to report at the SAI ground at 10 am, informed State athletic body secretary Pradeep Nunisa.
