GUWAHATI, March 23 - The Assam Tribune Employees� Union (ATEU) has severely condemned the brutal attack on TV journalist Chakrapani Parashar by some people on Thursday night.
In a press release, the Union, while condemning the dastardly act, demanded strong action against the culprits as soon as possible.
Stating that Assam tops the list of attack on scribes in the nation, the release said that many journalists have even been killed in the State and no justice has been done so far.
Demanding the government to take immediate action against the perpetrators of the crime, the Union said that strict rules and regulations should be framed at the earliest for protection and security of media workers.
