ATDC MD attends Bangkok tourism meet

GUWAHATI, July 15 - The Assam Tourism Development Corporation (ATDC) took part in an event organised on July 8 at Bangkok by the Indian Embassy in Thailand in collaboration with the Government of India Tourism Office, Singapore, to promote India as a tourist destination among the people of the South East Asian nation.

Manik Chandra Sharma, Managing Director of the ATDC, attended the event on behalf of Assam Tourism and made a presentation on the tourism potential of Assam, stated an official release.

He also presented a short documentary on tourism in Assam to attract foreign tourists and invited Thai tourists to visit the State.

The Ambassador of India to Thailand, Harsh Vardhan Shringla, senior officials from the Government of India Tourism office, Singapore, and tour operators from Thailand and India attended the Indian tourism promotion event.
