Amidst the circumstances, State Health Minister Keshab Mahanta has assured the people that situation with vaccine supply is likely improve in the next one week.

Responding to question on Tuesday on the issue of vaccines in the state, Mahanta, who was at Silchar Medical College and Hospital as a part of his two day visit to Barak Valley to assess COVID-19 situation said, " I have appraised the issue to Union Health Minister Dr Harshvardhan on Monday and urged him to allot more vaccines for Assam.
