Guwahati, Oct 25: The United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) pro-talk faction held a meeting at JB Resort in Kohora area of Assam's Kaziranga.
The meeting saw the presence of a delegation from the ULFA pro-talk faction, with Chairman Arabinda Rajkhowa and Anup Chetia leading the discussions.
Meanwhile, the pro-talks faction scheduled a press conference for 4:30 p.m., aiming to provide insights to the media regarding their discussions.
According to sources, the main focus was on political issues and topics, particularly the political rights of the indigenous Assamese people.
During the meeting, the ULFA-I pro-talk faction presented a total of 11 demands. The talks yielded positive outcomes with Interlocutor AK Mishra playing a pivotal role in these deliberations.
