Guwahati, Dec 24: Security Forces in a joint operation with Assam Police apprehended one active cadre and one overground worker (OGW) of ULFA (I) in general area of Tinkopani Reserve Forest in Tinsukia District on Wednesday.
Based on specific input, security forces launched a joint operation with Assam police and apprehended one active cadre and one OGW of ULFA (I) and recovered pistol, live ammunition and other materials.
The apprehended cadre and the OGW along with recovered items were handed over to Tinsukia police for further investigation.
