Diphu, July 12: Bokajan police managed to recover three luxury vehicles from car lifters and arrested two persons for their involvement in the crime.


According to official sources of Borpathar and Khatkati police stations the vehicles were hauled up from New Delhi. The stolen vehicles include Toyota Fortuner, Maruti Baleno and Maruti Bitera Brezza. In this connection, one Suraj Singh and Amu Khan, both residents of Manipur have been arrested by police. The lifters used fake registration numbers while driving the vehicles from Delhi up to Nagaland border.


Missing cases of the vehicles are pending in various police stations of Delhi.
