Hailakandi, March 25: Two persons died and three others were critically injured after a cement-loaded truck fell from NH 154 in Assam-Mizoram bordering Baicherra area of Hailakandi district on Wednesday night.
The two persons who died were identified as Santosh Das and Joyhari Das who happens to be the driver and helper of the truck said police sources.
The other three injured persons' names are yet to be identified.
The dead bodies have been sent for post mortem at SK Roy Civil Hospital of Hailakandi. The injured persons have been admitted to the hospital and their condition is reported to be critical.
