Silchar District Congress join nationwide protest against hike in petrol prices

Silchar, June 11: Along with the rest of the country, members of Silchar District Congress committee were seen echoing voices against the hike in petroleum prices on Friday.

Along with the District Congress, members at the block Congress level also joined in the protest at the petrol stations of the district and slammed the Government for being unable to keep a check on the petrol prices.

Jyotirindra Dey, spokesperson Silchar District Congress Committee, in a release issued to the media said through the protest, we urge upon the people to speak up against the anti-people steps taken by the BJP led Government.
