Diphu, Nov 1: The Chief Executive Member (CEM) of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) instated a number of facilities at Kaipholangso waterfall site situated near Duarbagori of Bokajan subdivision. The new installations include one foot over bridge, an approach road and a waiting shed.
Speaking on the occasion he assured the people of the locality that a road connecting Kohora with Deithor will be undertaken soon and in addition an auditorium at Dolamara will be constructed with an estimated cost of Rs. 1 crore, Akal Vidyalaya residential school for boys and girls will be constructed at an expenditure of Rs 50 crores at Diring and the construction work of Deithor Degree College with hostel facility for boys and girls will be completed soon.
He mentioned that the Deithor mini stadium constructed at a cost of Rs. 10 crores under chief minister's special package inaugurated on Saturday will give substantial benefit to the local youths. Ronghang mentioned that one irrigation Sub-Centre and a cold storage will be established at Deithor. He informed that a road will be constructed to connect Deithor and Rongbonghat .
Tuliram Ronghang later addressed a political rally where he mentioned that under the provision of the recently signed Member of Settlement with ultra-groups, large scale infrastructural growth will take place in Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council administered areas; which includes facility for higher education, communication, power, industry etc. He mentioned that this agreement will bring far reaching change in Karbi Anglong district.
