Guwahati, March 15: The Assam Police has arrested the prime accused in the Chatribari businessman murder case from Bihar.

The 40-year-old businessman Awdesh Kumar Yadav succumbed to his injuries after he was shot at by motorcycle-borne miscreants near his residence at Chatribari area in Guwahati on February 21.

Based on specific inputs the police arrested the accused identified as Pankaj Kumar Yadav from Bihar's Begusarai.

While interrogation, he further revealed that the mastermind of the plan was W Yadav who is still absconding and is suspected to go into hiding in Nepal.
