Silchar, Oct 6: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate two oxygen generation plants set up under the PM Cares initiative at the Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) on Thursday.
Dr Babul Kumar Bezbaruah, principal of SMCH informed that as a part of the pan India inaugural event, SMCH is the only centre in Assam. " We are elated and eagerly waiting for Honourable Prime Minister sir to inaugurate the two Oxygen Generation Plants each having capacity of 1000 LPM under PM Cares initiative. The proceedings for the virtual inauguration will start from 11 am."
Silchar MP Dr Rajdeep Roy, MLA Dipayan Chakraborty, Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli will attend the event at SMCH.
