Diphu, Aug 6: Action against drug trafficking is continuing in Karbi Anglong hill districts by police.
Today too, on the basis of specific information received a raid was conducted by Bokajan police led by Moni Chamuah, officer in-charge, Bokajan police station in the residence of one Mithilesh Gupta son of Lt Durga Sah, inhabitant of Ikorani under Bokajan police station here today at around 12.30 pm and recovered two soap cases containing 18 gms of heroin which is concealed back side of his auto registration No. AS 09AC/9579 police sources said.
Besides, cash Rs 1,78000 was recovered from his house, police sources said. Seizure was made under the physical supervision of John Das, SDPO Bokajan, the sources added.
