Guwahati, Oct 1: Assam Health Minister Keshab Mahanta on Friday informed that the new curfew timings in the State will now be from 10 pm to 5 am. The new announced timings will be effective from October 1, he added.
These are the guidelines of the new SOP:
i. Shops are allowed to stay open till 9 PM. The new timing will be effective from today.
ii. 50 persons are allowed to participate in public meetings who are fully vaccinated.
iii. 200 persons are allowed to attend marriage parties. All attendees should be fully vaccinated.
iv. Cinema halls to reopen with 50 % audience and the audience should be fully vaccinated. Cinema halls should maintain COVID-19 protocols.
v. 60 persons who are fully vaccinated can be allowed to visit the famous religious places and 40 visitors at other religious places will be allowed per hour.
vi.Teachers, students, staff etc, with double vaccination have been allowed to attend schools.
