Guwahati, Feb 7: In a series of operations conducted by the Nagaon Police one drug peddler, one hunter, and one teer operator were arrested in various areas of Nagaon district.
The police also seized drugs, wild ducks, a cash amount of Rs 75,000 and mobile phones from the possession of the group of people who were booked for the crimes.
Acting on a tip-off, the police conducted raids in various locations across the district, following which the illegal activities were busted. Three lost mobile handsets which were recovered were later handed over to the owners by Sonitpur police.
