Diphu, July 3: Several student and social organizations in Karbi Anglong have been continuing to demand justice for the 'mysterious' death of two residents of Dimapur, Nagaland in Gurugram.

While protesting the mysterious death of two residents of Dimapur, Nagaland, a memorandum has been submitted to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi by Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba-Chatra Parishad (AJYP), Karbi Anglong district unit through Bokajan Sub-divisional officer. The memorandum signed by Jitu Phukan, President and Apurpa Das, Secretary, AJYP appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene in the case as per law and ensure justice to the deceased persons.

On the other hand, Dr Numol Momin, Deputy Speaker, Assam Legislative Assembly also wrote letter to Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare and Minister of Science and Technology and to the Chief Minister of Assam, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma requesting to take up the matter of the suspicious death of Rosy Sangma and Samuel Sangma.

It may be mentioned here that Rosy Sangma reportedly died at Alfaa Hospital in Sector-10, Gurugram on June 24 after consuming ice cream while she was in the ICU, her nephew, Samuel Sangma, later died by suicide at a hotel in Gurugram where he was staying.
